Sponsored Research Services (SRS) provides research administration services to The Texas A&M University System. We further the research goals of the university by delivering efficient and superior service to members of the Texas A&M System research community. What We Do
Support faculty members in the preparation, review, and submission of research proposals.
Interpret and effectively communicate sponsor guidelines to ensure compliance with all requirements.
Budget preparation and compliance verification with sponsor regulations and Texas A&M University System Member policies.
Coordinate and compile proposal materials in collaboration with internal and external collaborators.
Ensure accurate final proposal preparation, review and submission while adhering to strict deadlines.

What You Need to Know
Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.
A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended.
SRS offices are located in College, Station, Texas. On-site, hybrid, and remote possibilities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications for Assistant Director:
Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Six years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including compliance and supervisory responsibilities, with related experience in accounting, project management, and budget development in a university or business environment, and experience supporting proposal administration, proposal preparation, or identifying funding/sponsorship opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Research Administration Certification (CRA).
Post-award project management experience.
Familiarity with Sponsored Research Services procedures.
Supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum required qualifications for Associate Director:
Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Eight years of administration experience, accounting experience, with some management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing complex federal research projects.
Familiarity with SRS and TAMU Financial Management Operations (FMO) procedures.
Experience supervising professional personnel.
Research Administration certification (CRA).
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
