As part of our Cardiac Rhythm Division, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our EMEA Distribution Center in Machelen. This position is a key strategic partner to Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations leadership — driving financial ownership, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across a dynamic, international network.

What you will do
Be a strategic partner to Operations
- Collaborate with leaders across the global supply chain, customer service and operations functions to deliver accurate projections, scenario analyses and insights on distribution, warehousing and freight.
- Identify data needs, frame recommendations, and guide leadership through decision‑making with clarity and confidence.
Lead financial planning & analysis for EMEA
- Own forecasting, month-end activities and reporting for EMEA Freight & Distribution, Customer Service and Business Process Improvement (BPI).
- Manage distressed inventory reporting for EMEA and ensure accurate month‑end cost assignments in partnership with EMEA Commercial teams.
- Support annual Plan and quarterly LBE processes for the EMEA Distribution Site, Customer Service and BPI teams.
Manage & develop talent
- Lead and develop one financial analyst, fostering growth, clarity, and alignment with organizational goals.
Strengthen financial controls & reporting
- Ensure accurate preparation of month‑end journal entries including invoice accruals, distressed inventory and material cost variances.
- Drive analytical insight into monthly performance and budget variances.
- Lead global freight reporting activities across business partners.
Enable efficiency through systems & tools
- Leverage PowerBI, SharePoint and reporting systems to enhance visibility and decision support.
- Deliver introductory financial training sessions for employees at the European Distribution Center.
What you bring
- Master’s degree from an accredited program; Accounting/Finance preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A and/or Finance within an international environment
- Experience in supply chain finance (distribution, warehousing, freight or inventory) strongly preferred
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP and Hyperion/Essbase preferred
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and proactive approach
- Ability to lead, challenge and structure team direction
- Curious, adaptable, solutions‑oriented and committed to continuous improvement
