Why This Role Is Important to Arcadia

Arcadia is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations in a private equity-backed environment focused on scaling the accounting operating model through automation and standardization for the next phase of company growth. This role ensures the integrity of financial reporting, strong internal controls, and disciplined close processes while supporting technical accounting matters and value creation initiatives.
 
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months

• Establish credibility as the operational leader of the accounting function
• Develop a strong understanding of Arcadia’s business model, revenue streams, cost structure, and performance drivers
• Build trust and alignment with FP&A, Legal, HR, and operational leadership

In 6 months

• Demonstrate full ownership of the close process and accounting operations with minimal oversight
• Lead accounting analysis for new or complex business initiatives and transactions
• Delivered measurable close/process automation wins and reduced manual touchpoints
• Strengthen the accounting function’s readiness for growth, acquisitions, or increased transaction volume

In 12 months

• Be recognized as the clear second-in-command within the accounting organization
• Successfully support M&A activity, including transaction execution and integration from an accounting standpoint
• Established scalable accounting workflows and an automation roadmap that supports the next phase of growth
• Improve financial visibility and decision support for leadership through disciplined accounting operations
