The Opportunity:

Under general supervision, perform planning, budgeting, and analysis for the sales organization. Create sales and revenue forecasts using pipeline analysis, booking estimates, and key sales performance indicators. Collect and analyze data related to sales trends, pricing, performance metrics, market share, and other sales-related statistics that drive sales performance. Produce reports that provide insight and guidance to management for sales strategy development and maximum sales efficiency. Review sales operating expenses and develop tools to measure expenditures.

WHAT WEARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy), Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 8 – 10 working experience, minimum 5 years of experience in channel management, distribution management, or key account management within the life sciences industry (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, diagnostics, or related sectors).

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful channel governance for compliant, transparent and effective channel management.

  • Familiarity with China’s life sciences market landscape, including key customer segments and channel dynamics.

  • Ability to design and adapt channel governance aligned with business objectives. Analyze data (channel inbound/outbound sales trends, partner performance, stock, market share,.etc ) to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Good command of data analysis and ERP/BI/CRM tools, especially SAP、QlikView and PBI

  • Must be a self-starter, highly analytical, with sound trouble shooting skills

  • Outgoing, confident, patient personality and customer-oriented attitude

  • Expert in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access

  • Excellent verbal and written English

  • Take full responsibility for various KPIs of distributors, conduct regular customer visits and relationship maintenance, increase the communication between Avantor and channel partners.

  • Policies & Regulations: Participate in and implement the governance of channel management processes, such as dealer admission principles, dealer evaluation and authorization systems, cross-regional business operation processes, dealer code of conduct, etc.

  • Authorization Management: Optimize the dealer evaluation system, be responsible for annual dealer performance evaluations, update corresponding dealer grade planning and discount systems, formulate cooperation agreements, issue authorization certificates, etc.

  • Dealer Information: Establish and maintain dealer databases, record dealer performance indicators (including special discount, goods pickup, sales performance, order tracking, inventory levels, cash flow status, etc.) to assist in the sustainable and healthy development of dealer businesses.

  • Dealer Meetings/Training: Organize, prepare for, and facilitate internal-external communication for annual company-level dealer meetings; conduct regular dealer training (technical, product, process, etc.) to enhance dealers’ comprehensive business capabilities.

  • SOP: Distributor's Selection, on-boarding, management and termination.

  • Efficient and convenient distributor order method: Promote and implement web order to improve the daily operational efficiency of both the company and dealers; support and monitor the execution of distributor e-commerce projects implementation.

  • Ad-hoc other tasks assigned by line manager.
