Purpose of Role:
To prepare moulds on the casting bay ready for casting.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First:
o Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Technical:
o Mould control and arrangement
o Clamping and sealing of moulds
o Mould inspection
o Control of pouring sheets and temperatures
o Prepare ladles
Operation:
o Operate crane
o De-slag furnaces
o Maintain 5’s on the casting bay
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
· Matric (Grade 12); or 12 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license. Valid forklift license. Overhead crane license
