POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Casino Accountant, Shared Services prepares accounting entries to reflect gaming activity including revenue, expenses (gaming tax, commissions, loyalty points, complimentary), cash movements, chips movements and other gaming related transaction activity. He / She prepares monthly reconciliation reports and analysis as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Prepares daily general ledger entries to record gaming revenue, gaming tax and license fees, commissions, loyalty points, complimentary, cash and chips movement, other cage transactions including intercompany and banking entries.
2.Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations of gaming ledger accounts.
3.Prepares reports for local Gaming Regulators and other authorities regarding revenue, taxes/license fees.
4.Liaises with Property Operation and/or local Finance team to ensure appropriate accounting treatment of transactions and any other operational issues.
5.Assists in the preparation of daily reports for Senior Management.
6.Assists to perform analytical reviews of gaming general ledger accounts and follow up on unusual or significant fluctuations.
7.Assists in internal and external audits.
8.Adheres and supports the Company’s vision and values.
9.All other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
I.Experience
1.Preferred At least one (1) year of audit or accounting experience
2.Work experience in Integrated Resort is an advantage.
II. Education
Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field
Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
III. Skills / Competencies
1. Strong communication skills
2. Proficient in MS Office Products particularly in Excel
3. Knowledgeable in accounting software and casino system.
