Purpose of Role: The role is responsible for performing electrical and assembly activities for WEYBA and project equipment, ensuring safe operations, quality output, and adherence to shop‑floor standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 5S standards and discipline on the shop floor.

  • Follow defined check sheets and take corrective action for any abnormalities.

  • Operate cranes and lifting equipment safely (as per certification).

  • Use measuring instruments accurately for inspection and verification.

  • Read and interpret GD&T and technical drawings.

  • Understand and comply with SOPs, 1PL, MSDS, HIRA, AIA, OEE, and SMED requirements.

  • Perform loading and unloading of materials safely.

  • Use appropriate jigs and fixtures for assigned jobs.

  • Carry out harness and wiring assemblies as per specifications.

  • Assemble pumps, valves, and project equipment according to drawings and procedures.

  • Update Andon, daily production, CTQ, breakdown, and related reports.

  • Ensure products are manufactured as per quality requirements with proper documentation.

  • Handle OK, rework, and rejected parts as per defined processes.

  • Complete jobs within defined cycle time and production targets.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • ITI in Fitter or Electrical.

  • 2–3 years of relevant shop‑floor experience in electrical and/or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
