Ferring+You

As Artwork and Change Management Head, you will oversee artwork and packaging changes for our global portfolio. You will lead a team of material artwork change coordinators responsible for the timely execution of these changes in line with quality and regulatory guidelines, as well as technical standards.

Your day at Ferring

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Component change planning:

  • Pilot and prioritize artwork and material change portfolio in collaboration with the VS team
  • Represent Artwork and Change Management team in the VS Change Control Tower
  • Monitor progress on artwork and material change portfolio and address backlog and technical challenges with team
  • Provide technical support and expertise to the team
  • Lead complex artwork changes
  • Escalate any challenges/delays driving potential supply risk

Product Launch & Discontinuation:

  • Actively contribute to New Product Launch by providing critical information on launch viability and execution timelines
  • Support product portfolio optimization opportunities

External partners:

  • Manage relationship with external partners
  • Ensure adequate service agreement terms are in place to support Ferring activities
  • Monitor adherence to the contractual terms and escalate any deviations
  • Maintain recurring meeting with the local RAM (Regulatory Affair Manager)

Process & Continuous improvement:

  • Collaborate with global packaging engineers to support technical integration and alignment across Ferring’s packaging sites, considering aspects such as packaging technology, serialization/aggregation capabilities, and printing feasibility
  • Ensure adequate communication flows are in place with our internal and external partners and stakeholders to guarantee efficient and seamless operations
  • Identify areas of improvement to design new processes and drive systems’ (BLUE, PLEX) enhancements with the support of Global Process Owner.
  • Drive recurring meeting with the site to follow master data, packaging instruction and recipe readiness.

Team lead:

  • Lead Artwork Change Management Team including management of yearly global performance process
  • Establish adequate capabilities and ensure back-up plan is in place within the team to guarantee business continuity at all-time
  • Develop and grow the team co-identifying potential career path and building appropriate succession plan

We expect the ideal candidate to have below qualifications:

  • Education in Logistics/Supply chain or equivalent education in Business administration
  • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain (in pharma or highly regulated business a preference) including artwork change management
  • Supply Chain Planning experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English and any additional language is a merit
  • Ability to learn fast, curious mindset, interest in cross functional collaboration
  • Independent decision-making ability with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Structured working style and good at keeping an overview
  • Positive mind-set and team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues and internal stakeholders as needed
  • Management experience through direct reporting or in a project setup
