What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead safe, efficient, and compliant operations across multiple cement terminals, including logistics coordination for rail, truck, and barge movements
  • Oversee terminal staffing, workflow planning, and maintenance programs to ensure operational reliability
  • Support Terminal Managers in inventory management, customer service, and collaboration with sales teams
  • Drive continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with agencies, transportation partners, and port officials
  • Guide construction, retrofit, and capital projects from planning through execution in partnership with internal stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Operational Leadership in cement and Industrial terminals, demonstrated ability to oversee high volume cement handling, storage, and distribution while maintaining strict adherence to safety environmental compliance, and quality standards
  • Mechanical and maintenance expertise, strong understanding of mechanical systems such as conveyors, bucket elevators, compressors, dust collection systems and pneumatic transport. Experienced in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment uptime
  • Safety driven decision making- applies sound judgment to protect people, assets, and product integrity, ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and industry best practices.
  • Logistics coordination and multi-priority management-skilled at balancing inbound/outbound flows, coordinating with carriers, and managing operational bottlenecks in fast-moving terminal environments.
  • Cross-functional communication builds strong relationships with plant teams, maintenance crews, contractors and external partners to ensure smooth operations and rapid issue resolution.
  • Continuous improvement mindset committed to reliability improvements, cost-effective maintenance strategies, and fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion and high performance.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
