Area Sales Manager

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As an Area Sales Manager you will drive sales growth by managing the customer group of pipeline and general industry. You will promote Jotun products to new and existing projects to achieve sales target and increase our market share.

In this job role, you will report to the General Sales Manager and will be based in Al Quoz Industrial Area, Dubai, U.A.E.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts in pipeline and general industries to drive profitable growth.
  • Develop tailored customer account plans and identify needs to ensure meeting customers’ demands.
  • Monitor projects’ progress, resolve technical and commercial issues, and ensure timely completion with high quality performance and responsiveness.
  • Present and recommend Jotun products to consultants and owners, securing specifications and creating new sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on projects to meet sales budget and ensure timely customer payments.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to gain a strong network within the market that supports business growth.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering is required.
  • More than 4 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in Powder or Oil and Gas sectors.
  • More than 1 year of people management experience is required.
  • A valid Gulf Council Country light vehicle driving license is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
