This is the role
Become our Area Sales Manager and drive our distributor and contractor network across your territory. You will plan and execute distribution sales, build strong partner relationships, provide technical and commercial support, promote new products, identify market opportunities, and contribute to local marketing and events. Using market insight and close collaboration with internal teams, you’ll deliver forecasts and reports that inform strategy and secure market share.
Key responsibilities
Plan and execute distribution sales activities for the general building insulation & ETICS segments in your territory.
Build, maintain and grow a strong distributor and installer network to secure market share.
Negotiate and manage distributor contracts, pricing and commercial terms.
Provide technical and commercial support to distributors, specifiers and contractors; deliver product presentations and trainings.
Identify market opportunities and promote new Rockwool products and systems.
Coordinate logistics, order follow‑up and payment monitoring in collaboration with internal teams.
Contribute to local marketing plans, events and customer seminars to drive demand.
Gather market and competitor intelligence and prepare regular forecasts and activity reports to support decision‑making.
Act as a collaborative back‑up for the sales team and escalate any issues that may carry legal or commercial risk.
Requirements:
Knowledge of the construction market
3 + years’ sales experience in sales in construction business
Independent, good planning and organizing skills, ability to build networking, displaying persuasiveness and negotiation skills
Integrity, result orientation and ability to work in a team
Good communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English
