Brown & Brown is seeking an Area Sales Leader to join our growing team in Arlington, TX.
The Area Sales Leader drives regional business growth by managing and expanding a portfolio of dealer clients across Central and South Texas. This role leverages strategic planning, proactive relationship management, and the introduction of new products and services to increase market penetration and revenue. The Area Sales Leader ensures dealer satisfaction by identifying operational and performance needs, resolving issues promptly, delivering dealership training, and maintaining consistent communication. By aligning client engagement with company policies, market trends, and business objectives, this position strengthens partnerships and supports long‑term sales success.
How You Will Contribute:
- Develop and acquire additional business revenue from both new and existing dealer clients.
- Manage and retain an existing book of business while pursuing growth opportunities through a defined business plan.
- Rapidly identify client needs and resolve any issues as they occur.
- Provide training to dealership personnel as needed or directed by leadership.
- Ensure proper resources from within the organization are involved with the client and introduce new products and services when appropriate.
- Maintain consistent communication with teammates and dealer partners by utilizing appropriate company resources and software.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Remain up to date with current market conditions and competitor activity.
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate and/or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Minimum of two (5) years automotive F&I experience and or sales management experience.
- Must have a strong, in‑depth understanding of reinsurance, including structures, programs, and regulatory considerations and capable of independently leading reinsurance reviews and strategic discussions with clients.
- Strong familiarity with key carrier partners and relationships across the reinsurance and dealer services marketplace.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing and developing a team of 8–10 professionals.
- Significant experience working for a dealer service company and/or an administrator is strongly preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
