The Inventory & Logistics Manager is responsible for working with all assigned branch locations to attain the highest possible levels of process efficiency, right sized fleet, Working Capital allocation and asset management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Branch / Operations managers in maintaining proper vehicle, utility, and freight optimization
- Assist in logistics standardization initiatives
- Develop and effectively communicate options for most cost-effective inventory sourcing
- Provide support and guidance for identifying and managing logistics consolidation,
- Open Document process training and problem solving
- Purchase Order Expediting Identification and Branch Training
- Assist Branch and Operations Managers with Product Standardization, Excess Vehicle/Trailer Management and Liquidation
- Assist Permian Locations with invoice processing, DMS maintenance and dispute resolution
- Must understand and comply with all workplace safety policies of DNOW
- All work assignments must be carried out to the highest quality service level.
- Insures compliance with personnel policies and government HSE employment practices.
- Other Duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
- Supply chain management and relevant ERP system experience
- Ability to proficiently multi-task daily.
- Effective account management and customer service skill sets.
- Knowledge of strategic and tactical problem solving capabilities.
- Understand assigned budgetary and fiscal responsibility requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of P&L fiscal requirements.
- Strong ethical compliance standards.
- Ability to engender effective leadership capabilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong workplace resiliency capabilities.
