Overview
The Campbell’s Company Corporate Archives preserves and promotes the long heritage of the company. The Part‑Time Archives Specialist supports the Corporate Archivist in processing, organizing, and enhancing access to both physical and digital archival assets. This role contributes directly to safeguarding the company’s history and supporting internal partners through accurate, timely, and engaging archival work.
Key Responsibilities
Collection Processing & Cataloging
Process physical and digital archival materials according to archival standards and best practices.
Arrange, rehouse, and describe materials, ensuring consistency with archival principles.
Create and update catalog records and metadata across archival databases and digital systems.
Digital Asset Management
Add, update, and maintain metadata for digital content in the digital asset manager and archival databases.
Digitally capture internal announcements, external news, and other historically significant materials.
Collection Maintenance & Organization
Assist in reorganizing physical and digital collections to support improved accessibility and long-term preservation.
Perform light preservation tasks as needed.
General Archival Support
Assist the Corporate Archivist with special projects, research requests, events, and ongoing initiatives as assigned.
Work toward becoming a subject matter expert in the history of business and its brands, with the goal of sharing these stories with internal and external audiences.

Required Qualifications
An M.A. in Archival Studies, Library/Information Science, Museum Studies, Public History, or related discipline with completed coursework in archives or information management.
Two to three years of work experience in an archive; including full and part-time positions, internships, freelance and volunteer roles.
Basic understanding of archival arrangement and description.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. for archival storage tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a Digital Asset Manager or digital collections systems.
Experience with PastPerfect or other archival collections management software.
Familiarity with TMS or other cataloging tools used for processing archival collections.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$54,900-$78,900Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
