As an A&R Accountant, OTC, you are part of a Business Process Team in the APAC Finance Shared Service Centre.
About You
We’re looking to recruit an A&R Accountant, OTC, reporting to the Accounting & Reporting Manager, China based in Shanghai.
The role will partner with the business and customers to execute OTC management duties to achieve productivity, quality, and service objectives in Finance operation area to support the business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your main role covers 3 main responsibilities (Credit, AR and Process Improvement).
Credit management
- Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards
- Perform monthly and yearly closing procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Achieve core KPIs and ensure operations are compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the resolution of difficult collection and dispute cases.
- Assist credit control in developing/optimizing credit management and effective implementation.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze turnover/AR data, provide insightful comments with forward-looking business intelligence to support management decision.
- Collaborate proactively with Sales and Commercial teams, providing data-driven input on credit and collection to support healthy and sustainable business growth.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in AR processes.
- Implement policies, procedures, controls, and systems to enhance scalability and accuracy.

This role is assigned to operate in Shanghai, Xuhui district
What You’ll have
- Degree in finance or accountancy
- Minimum 8 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles within a multinational organization. Experienced with OTC process with a sizable company, worked in Shared Service Center is an advantage. Proven track record of driving operational improvements in AR processes
- Strong in excel & SAP
- Experience in using Hyperion or Kingdee is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail. A good team player eager and quick to learn, and able to work under pressure
- Meticulous and fast learner are key competencies for success.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written) and Chinese
