Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Apprentice to join our Project Management team. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialized skills in quality management within the commercial real estate and construction sectors while working alongside experienced QA/QC professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing quality control procedures across construction and project management projects
• Support the inspection of materials, installations, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Help document non-conformances and track corrective actions
• Learn to review technical submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
• Support the development and maintenance of quality management documentation
• Assist with field testing procedures and equipment calibration checks
• Help compile data for quality reports and presentations
• Participate in quality-related meetings and site walks
• Learn industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Basic understanding of construction methods and materials
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication abilities
• Organized approach to documentation and record-keeping
• Willingness to work in both office and construction site environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in or completion of courses related to construction management, engineering, or quality management
• Basic knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with quality management principles
• Understanding of safety protocols in construction environments
• Experience with data collection and analysis
