Your mission:

An apprenticeship opportunity titled : « In-Service Engineer: Structures» has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore (Titanium Tech Park). You will join the In-Service Engineering department in charge of Airframe repair design and/or analysis.

Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start on [07/2026] (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

● Analyze the request (& damage report) sent from Airbus’s customers 

● Propose a solution / repair design

● Perform stress (static / fatigue & damage tolerance) calculations for the proposed repair design

● Create the approval report and follow through with the approval process

 

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:

● Airframe design and / or stress analysis methods

● Certification specification /aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft Structure

● Problem solving through reverse engineering

Eligibility Criteria:

• You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering.

• Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome).

• Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship.

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

- Aircraft structures design (drafting, GD&T, etc..)

- Strength of materials / Structural analysis (strength / stability

- Fracture mechanics / Fatigue analysis 

- Soft Skills :

- Problem Solving Skills, Quick learning

- Team work, Proactive / Anticipation Mindset

- Ownership, Speakup

- Language skills :

- English: fluent
