Job Description:

Building products on the assembly line according to drawings, instructions, or schematics.

Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.

Prioritize safety by following all company guidelines and wearing proper PPE.

Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.

Handling production parts in the line and packing assembled products into boxes for storage.

Stopping the assembly line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected while performing the job and inform to supervisor in a timely manner

Maintaining a record of production tasks and reworks

Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to the supervisors in timely manner.

Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished assemblies.

Ensure products are to the drawing dimensions & standard work to meet customer and internal standards and specifications.

Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Collaborate with teammates to build the assemblies according to established processes.

Input work orders into our system and maintain detailed production records.

Be willing to learn new skills and potentially cross-train in other areas.

Basic knowledge on jigs and fixtures & 5s.

Skill Set:

ITI or equivalent qualification.

At least 1 year experience working on an assembly line.

Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.

Should be able to demonstrate highest standards of work ethics.

Should be able to follow good ethical traits with respect to appearance, attendance, attitude, character, communication, co-operation, respect, teamwork and punctuality.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and schematics.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Good physical stamina and the ability to lift higher weight products within the limits of safety protocol and as well as stand for hours at a time within the stipulated safety protocol.

Able to work in any shifts as per the business requirements.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
