Job Description Summary

Position Summary:
The Appraisal Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end appraisal process for real estate assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. This role manages relationships with third-party appraisal vendors, internal stakeholders, and clients to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality valuation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appraisal Process Management:
    • Oversee the ordering, review, and delivery of property appraisals for commercial and/or residential assets.
    • Monitor turnaround times and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs).
    • Establish and enforce appraisal policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
    • Select, onboard, and manage third-party appraisal firms and vendors.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and clients regarding appraisal-related inquiries.
  • Risk & Compliance:
    • Implement controls to mitigate valuation risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of appraisal reports for accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Technology & Process Improvement:
    • Leverage appraisal management platforms and tools to streamline workflows.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Prepare and present appraisal performance metrics, trends, and insights to senior leadership.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all appraisal activities.
  • Additional Assigned Projects:
    • Perform additional assigned projects as requested by supervisor and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field experience (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in appraisal management, valuation, or related real estate functions.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in appraisal management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified General Appraiser license or equivalent credential (a plus).
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate valuation methodologies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive operational improvements.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 80,750.00 - $95,000.00
