Department Overview

The Product Orderability (PO) organization is a global team operating across all major time zones (North America, Europe, and Asia).
The PO organization supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of product definitions, structures, and configuration rules across multiple enterprise applications, including:
Oracle Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
Oracle EBS (Enterprise Business Suite)
Oracle CPQ (Configure Price Quote)
Oracle Commerce Cloud.
The PO organization provides high quality and on time product data deliverables to enable flawless product launch and maintenance to realize business revenue. MSI is going through ERP and CRM transformations initiative replacing legacy systems with the state of the art systems and methodology. The PO organization is a key team driving many of these areas.


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and support product configurations in Oracle CPQ, OCC, and legacy configuration systems. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Supply Chain, Service, Sales, IT, and Engineering) to gather requirements and implement product configuration solutions.

  • Manage and oversee the entire product configuration migration process. This includes moving configurations from development, through staging/testing, and ultimately to production release, with a focus on providing support for CPQ configuration in both factory and order fulfillment operations.

  • Conduct testing and validation of product configurations and automation scripts.

  • Ensure product setup adheres to Oracle and Motorola Solutions best practices.

  • Maintain and enhance existing automation projects and tools to ensure continuous operation and improvement.

  • Review current manual Item/BOM setup processes and propose automation solutions using technologies such as Web Applications, Artificial Intelligence, or BOTs. 

  • Design and develop various automation scripts to achieve process efficiencies and cost savings across business functions.

  • Operate within an Agile team environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in at least one software procedural language (e.g., Oracle BML, C++, JavaScript, SQL , Python, Google Script).

  • Proficiency in at least one software library / framework (e.g. React, Angular, Flask, FastAPI).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, work effectively as part of a team, and independently achieve objectives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Fluent in written and verbal English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle SW products PLM, EBS and CPQ.

  • Experience with web application development.

  • Experience with automation tools.

  • Understanding of various automation solutions such as Web Application, Artificial Intelligence or BOTs.

Target Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $77,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Data Analytics or similar technical discipline

  • OR 2+ years of experience in an analyst or programmer role or similar technical role

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
