Job Summary

The sky is no longer the limit as Nidec takes its technology off the ground and into the Aerospace market. As a Systems Engineer with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to build the supply base for electric propulsion systems for the battery-powered aircrafts that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B.

Job Description

The Systems Engineer designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization’s systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Analyzes, develops, modifies, tests and maintains the system.
• Makes updates to system related installation documentation.
• Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Brilliant conflict resolution, analytical, and decision-making skills are vital to the position equally.
• The top core skills for systems engineering are information security, integration, and security. Skills that differentiate professionals comprise of mathematics, application development, and systems software.
