As part of Accurate Background’s Global Information Security team, the Application Security Engineer will support Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) operations. They will work closely with development, security, and engineering teams to ensure that applications are properly assessed for vulnerabilities and that security issues are addressed effectively. The ideal candidate should have experience with SAST and DAST tools, as well as a strong understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerability management processes.
Application Security Engineers must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work under tight deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance security posture. This role reports to the Sr. Application Security Engineer.
