Junior Security Monitoring Operator (part-time)

Key Duties of Security Monitoring Operator

• Handle basic security monitoring tasks and simple analyses, with support from more experienced teammates.

• Talk to customers and follow the usual communication guidelines.

• Get to know ESET XDR tools and the internal systems we use.

• Join threat‑hunting activities, follow given steps, and note down your findings.

• Help prepare reports based on instructions from senior colleagues.

• Keep learning new things and stay up to date with the latest security trends and technologies.

• Jump in on other tasks your manager needs help with as part of the team’s daily work.

Our requirements

• Full‑time university student in Information Security or another IT‑related field

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in an IT field is an advantage

• Fundamental understanding of Windows/Linux systems and their inner workings.

• Knowledge of computer networks (IP address, ports, protocols, MAC address, etc.)

• Strong interest in learning new things in the field of cybersecurity

• Responsibility and ability to work independently

• Analytical mindset with acute attention to detail.

• Willingness to cover mainly evening, night, and weekend shifts

Compensation: from 9€/hour
