Key Responsibilities
Provide technical implementation, configuration, and integration support for Concurrent Real-Time products, including RedHawk Linux, iHawk real-time servers, and simulation toolchains.
Assist customers in system setup, benchmarking, latency optimization, and troubleshooting of real‑time environments.
Deliver on-site or remote customer training, demonstrations, and technical workshops.
Collaborate with R\&D teams to replicate issues, validate fixes, and contribute to product improvements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution guides, and best practices.
Support pre‑sales activities by participating in technical presentations, proof-of-concept deployments, and requirements analysis.
Partner with customers in aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial sectors to ensure successful deployment and long-term performance of their real‑time applications.
Participate in system testing, performance evaluation, and custom configuration development as needed.
Provide feedback to product management on feature requests and market needs.
Travel internationally (approx. 15–25%) for customer engagements, training, and on-site support.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of Linux internals, kernel tuning, or real‑time operating system concepts.
Experience with C/C++ development and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Familiarity with real‑time scheduling, latency analysis, multithreading, or performance optimization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work directly with customers.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Fluency in English (additional European languages a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Concurrent Real-Time products or other real‑time Linux distributions.
Experience in one or more industries such as aerospace & defense, automotive simulation, hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing, robotics, or industrial control.
Knowledge of networking, drivers, FPGA interfaces, or high‑performance computing.
Background in real‑time simulation environments, such as MATLAB/Simulink‑based HIL systems.
Prior experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
