We are seeking an Application Engineer to support installation, configuration, and customer enablement of Cadence JedAI and Pulse technologies across diverse customer environments. This role focuses on deploying these tools, integrating them with other Cadence tools, and ensuring stable operation across multiple infrastructure configurations.
Key Responsibilities
Support JedAI and Pulse installations including environment setup, configuration, and enterprise integration.
Configure and validate services, such as: Index / vector database services, Embedding and reranking services, LLM gateway and API endpoints
Work with customer IT, CAD, and security teams to align deployments with enterprise policies and infrastructure
Troubleshoot issues across services and logs
Assist customers with Post‑install validation, updates to vector databases and models, monitoring, stability, and capacity considerations
Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering, and Sales to resolve issues and drive successful adoption
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Strong experience with Linux/Windows environments
Familiarity with containerized applications
Working knowledge of distributed services and configuration using YAML or similar formats
Ability to debug issues using logs and service‑level metrics
Experience supporting Cadence EDA tools in a customer‑facing AE role
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes concepts (Pods, services, resource allocation)
Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, inference services, or vector databases
Familiarity with version control systems, design databases, or PLM‑style data governance models
Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (API keys, tokens, access control)
Experience supporting customer‑managed infrastructure environments
The annual salary range for California is $123,200 to $228,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
