In this role as an application engineer for OEM Sales Korea you will be reporting to the Head of OEM Sales Korea.

Your responsibilities:

  • Consolidation of engine technologies and trends of Low and Medium Speed OEM’s.

  • Identification of main drivers and evaluation of potential future concepts and related technology requirements.

  • Input for product- & component development, drive placement of newly developed products in close alignment with the Manager Turbocharging Solutions.

  • Ensure a reliable customer relationship regarding technical co-operation

  • Build up wide and sustainable network with relevant key persons within the customer’s organization

  • Update and provide input to internal stake holders with respect to relevant customers information / developments

  • Provide consultancy with respect to most suitable turbocharging solution satisfying the customer by providing true added value.

  • Participation at Engine matching tests including defining matching material

  • Organization, preparation and driving customer meetings with Design Dept. of Low and Medium Speed OEM’s

  • Turbocharger Portfolio and Turbocharger specification management in close cooperation with order processing and commercial management

  • Support to Technical Service department with respect to performance related field issues

  • Participate in various internal projects such as development projects and CPI projects

  • Support customers with daily business


Your background:

  • 3 years of experience in marine engineer, working as engineer with engines

  • Sound knowledge of Engine cycle simulation tool and the marine market

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or Marine system engineering

  • Fluent English
