Job Summary

This position is responsible for Management of Change (MOC) activities at fabric converters, ensuring product integrity and compliance during process changes. The role involves close collaboration with Application Development Scientists, Contract Operations Teams, and the Tyvek® Manufacturing Technology Team, with occasional travel to converter sites.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead MOC processes for fabric converters to maintain product performance and regulatory compliance.

  • Partner with internal teams and external converters to assess risks and implement changes effectively.

  • Translate technical properties into product features for customer-facing applications.

  • Conduct and oversee laboratory testing (internal and external) to validate material performance.

  • Support qualification plans, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain documentation for SOPs and compliance audits.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or related field.

  • Hands-on experience in lab testing and material evaluation.

  • Familiarity with fabric conversion processes (extrusion coating, coating, lamination) and technical property analysis.

  • 5+ years of work experience in a similar role

  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

  • Ability to translate technical data into practical product features.

  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel to fabric converters as needed
