Paid Full-Time Internship
Division: Information Technology – Software Quality Assurance
Location: Waterloo, Wisconsin
Duration: Full Time Starts June 1 2026

A Day in the Life

As an API / Performance Automation QA Intern, you’ll help drive Trek’s digital quality excellence by designing, developing, and executing automated testing frameworks for API or Performance testing needs of key business systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and data analytics while contributing directly to Trek’s mission of world-class software delivery.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects such as:

• API / Load Tests Automation: Build API / Load Test suites for TrekBikes.com and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• QA Metrics Dashboards: Create Power BI visualizations that track key QA metrics such as defect leakage and automation rate.

We Are Looking For

You’ll excel in this internship if you’re:

• Detail-Oriented: You’re methodical in how you design, execute, and document your tests.
• Technical: Familiar with at least one programming or scripting language (Java, JavaScript, or Python).
• Data-Driven: Comfortable analyzing test results, defect trends, and performance metrics.
• Collaborative: Eager to work in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
• Currently Enrolled: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
