JOB PURPOSE:
As a APDM, you’ll oversee project execution, resource allocation, and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.
The primary responsibility of the role is the engineering agenda for Pakistan, secondary the role will support the wider PTAB Foods agenda.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:
• Ensure the safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of all projects.
• Monitor annual cash flows regularly.
• Coordinate internal and external teams, managing contractors for flawless project execution.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively.
• Develop project networks and arrange project reviews with site teams.
• Conduct Concept Engineering, FEED, and Detailed Engineering for projects.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project schedules.
• Collaborate with finance teams for asset capitalization.
• Liaise with global technology/regional design teams for plant/site layout work.
• Ensure newly ordered PEB/Building Infrastructure and Utilities Equipment is in line with site’s long term sustainability, cost and safety strategies.
• Oversee consultants and contractors, implementing construction safety management plans.
• Manage supplier visits and payments.
• Prepare Project Procurement Plans and assess technical bids.
• Ensure PR/POs are raised in line with Procurement guidelines and also GRNs are posted timely & accurately.
• Execute projects with minimal downtime to existing plant operations.
• Implement the EEM 7-step methodology in major projects.
• Hand over projects with detailed documentation to site teams.
• Fulfill responsibilities assigned by PDM or Factory Engineer.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills:
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
Additional Preferred Skills:
• Contractor management.
• Conflict resolution.
• Negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Experience and Qualification:
• BSc. in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Civil Engineering.
• 4-7 years of experience in Engineering, preferably in FMCG.
