The Regulatory Advisory Support role provides support to the business advisory team in their engagement withrelevant business and/or infrastructure areas. They also support the team in their provision of level 1 controladvice and in their assistance with conducting level 2 controls and risk assessment for these areas.

The AFC Staff Team Member is responsible for supporting AFCO and performing operational tasks of AML,CTF, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Fraud & Investigations, ABC activities in the jurisdiction, hereby ensuringthat all relevant AFC policies, procedures, systems and controls are effectively performed in due time, all AFC-relevant legal, regulatory and DB Group requirements are running in operational mode and any AFC-relatedrisks detected are appropriately addressed to the AFC Officer and take the operation action to be mitigate. The AFC Staff Team Member is also responsible for perform all operational task relating to the identification,assessment, advice on, monitoring, control and reporting on the AFC laws, rules and standards relevant to theDB activities in their respective jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting AFC Officer advising on impact on new laws/regulation and ensuring operational implementation ofAFC policies and procedures.

  • Reporting and liaising with AFCO to ensure appropriate reporting and escalation of issues and/or incidents.

  • Be active part on complying with the requirements set by the AFC Global Controls Programme.

  • Develop and carry out adequate controls execution to ensure that all applicable legal and regulatory AFCrequirements are being adhered to in their jurisdiction.

  • The AFC STM, when/as deputy entrusted of AFCO, assume authority and decisions over the OperationalBusiness topics under AFC supervision and responsibility matters.

  • Performing and support Other Related Country Operational Activities.

Skills

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in economics/management or science (preferable but not excluded).

  • Appetite and interest in geopolitics and economic-logistical-global world relations mechanisms.

  • Professional Experience: in risk areas and/or financial crime (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese. Any additional language will be an advantage.

  • Ability to collaborate and strong position maker and decision. Teamwork spirit and ability to influence others.Results driven.

  • Strong analytical and attention to details. Good ability to organize and manage tasks.
