As a Lead Analyst, You will collaborate closely with the Business Stakeholders team and leadership team based in the US and Global, Therapy Areas Insights Directors, Marketing directors, Regional directors, Ecosystem Insights Leads, and the broader GATE team. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver advanced analytics and actionable insights that support strategic priorities, ultimately aiming for the greatest impact with customers and patients. 

Your Opportunity: 

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with US Payer and Brand Marketing partners to shape, prioritize, and deliver analytics and insights that inform payer pull-through, contracting decisions, and pricing strategy.

  • Lead the execution and quality oversight of managed markets analytics, including assessment of formulary status, utilization management requirements, payer and customer segmentation, and access sophistication.

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the pharmaceutical data ecosystem, including medical and pharmacy claims, prescription data, and outlet data (e.g., IQVIA LAAD, claims data, NPA, PLANtrak, DDD, 867) lives data , coverage data from DRG, MMIT , Policy Reporter

  • Develop, enhance, and present recurring performance reports that evaluate product and portfolio outcomes against defined commercial objectives.

  • Deliver payer-focused insights by executing analytics across multiple datasets, including patient-level claims, payer claims, formulary coverage data, and specialty pharmacy data.

  • Manage and support a team of Analysts and Senior Analysts, including workload planning, performance tracking, coaching, and ongoing development.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders by leading discussions, offering alternative perspectives, and driving innovative, insight-led problem solving.

  • Apply advanced analytical techniques—such as longitudinal patient analysis, time-series modeling, segmentation, and diagnostic analytics—to address complex business questions.

  • Build and maintain analytical models and frameworks using SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau to generate actionable business insights.

  • Translate business needs into clear analytical deliverables by prioritizing requests and coordinating day-to-day execution with the GATE internal team.

  • Create clear, compelling presentations that effectively communicate insights, implications, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Work effectively across global teams, with flexibility to participate in meetings during IST–PST overlap as needed.

  • Provide mentorship and hands-on guidance to junior team members and interns, strengthening analytics capabilities and pharma domain knowledge.

Who you are: 

  • You holds Bachelors / Master’s degree in Technology or a relevant discipline, with a preference for Computer Science, Software, Statistics, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering and related fields

  • 7–12 years of experience in analytics or consulting roles, including 5–7 years supporting Pharma, Biotech, or Healthcare analytics initiatives, particularly those related to payer coverage, access, and reimbursement dynamics related analytics

  • Experience working across one or more therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, neurology, immunology); familiarity with commercial platforms such as Salesforce or Veeva is a plus

  • Proven ability to communicate insights clearly and confidently, with experience presenting analyses to business stakeholders and addressing questions with clarity and precision

  • Hands-on experience analyzing products covered under both medical and pharmacy benefit structures.

  • Exposure to payer pull-through, contracting, and pricing initiatives, value marketing, or direct payer engagement, along with a solid understanding of the US payer landscape and broader healthcare market.

  • Strong problem-structuring and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, develop pragmatic solutions, and drive execution.

  • Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage effectively across functions and seniority levels.

  • Comfort working in complex, evolving environments; ability to synthesize diverse information, connect insights, and focus on implications for the business.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with the ability to influence stakeholders with varied perspectives and working styles.

  • Ability to lead payer & contracting engagements and manage stakeholder expectations

  • Strong analytical aptitude and critical thinking skills, combined with a sound understanding of commercial and business strategy.

  • Any certifications on analytics or data science would be an added advantage
