Your role at Clorox:

The Analytics Analyst supports Business Unit (BU) decision‑making by conducting analyses, building dashboards, and preparing clear, data‑driven insights. This role works with SQL, Python, and modern visualization tools to access, clean, and analyze data, contributing to the team’s understanding of business performance and consumer behavior. The analyst collaborates with cross‑functional partners and the broader Analytics & Data Science (A&DS) organization to support recurring processes, improve analytical workflows, and enable faster, more consistent insights across the business.

In this role, you will:

Business Impact & Analytical Leadership

  • Support the development of analytical insights that inform Business Unit (BU) plans and performance discussions.
  • Assist in applying Analytics & Data Science (A&DS) methods that help teams make faster, smarter decisions.
  • Use consumer, competitive, and category data to support cross‑functional work with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and PSO.
  • Contribute to analyses using techniques such as:
    • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
    • Test & control analysis (ANCOVA)
    • Forecasting and predictive analytics
    • Price and promotion analysis
  • Support core business planning processes such as Integrated Business Planning and Multi‑Year Planning through data preparation and analysis.
  • Partner with A&DS teams to support capability‑building efforts and contribute to improving analytical processes.

Technical Expertise & Data Fluency

  • Build dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support insight discovery.
  • Use SQL and Python to access, clean, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Contribute to scripting or workflow improvements that streamline recurring analytics tasks.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of ETL concepts, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and modern analytics tools.
  • Follow best practices in code organization, documentation, and reproducibility.
  • Analyze complex datasets and summarize findings in clear, structured ways for team use.
  • Participate in knowledge‑sharing and process‑improvement efforts within A&DS.

Communications, Influence, and Collaboration

  • Communicate analytical findings clearly and concisely to business and technical partners.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and support ongoing initiatives.
  • Present insights in accessible language that helps partners understand performance drivers.
  • Build strong working relationships across teams and contribute to an inclusive, insight‑led culture.

What we look for:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 0–2+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, or a related field
  • Exposure to digital or media analytics is a plus

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office 365 suite
  • Experience building dashboards or visualizations using modern BI tools
  • Ability to write SQL queries and use Python for data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and contemporary analytics tooling
  • Ability to follow coding best practices, including documentation and reproducibility
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with large datasets

Collaboration, Communication & Ways of Working

  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn new tools and methods
  • Ability to explain analytical findings in clear, straightforward language
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently or within cross‑functional teams

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900

–Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100

–Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300
