The Preplanning Solutions Valuation department is primarily responsible for determining the value of insurance liabilities and assets according to regulations to ensure the solvency and financial health of the Preplanning Solutions entities. In this role, you have the responsibility for developing and maintaining actuarial valuation reporting processes on a GAAP, STAT, Tax and Economic basis, following industry best practices. You will interact with professionals developing and supporting TruStage Preneed products, establish valuation and projection assumptions, perform reinsurance administration, and detailed policy value calculations. This role will require frequent collaboration with other departments including Accounting, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance, external Reinsurance Partners, and other professional actuaries across the company. The position will be engaged as a leader, developer, and participant in various company projects and departmental process improvement initiatives.
The position has significant freedom to conduct analysis and develop solutions to actuarial issues. The primary purpose is to conduct analysis, and communicate conclusions of analysis, helping to drive desired business performance. The position requires the ability to communicate complex analysis and conclusions to business leaders, assisting those leaders in taking appropriate actions to meet company financial objectives. This position has regular interaction with external audiences in support of filings, financials, or audits, and occasional contact with customers.

Base Salary Range:
$135,500.00 - $203,300.00
