Job Summary
The Technical Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's physical security technical infrastructure and systems. This role involves advising deployment of physical security technologies, maintaining hardware updates, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance to staff and other security personnel on hardware-related matters. The Analyst will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, assisting in the development of security hardware policies, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes technical expertise and industry best practices to implement physical security technology solutions that address the organization's unique physical security requirements.
- Configures and maintains physical security software, applications, and other security tools, to protect the organization's assets.
- Assists in facilitating the Physical Security Break/Fix Program, tracking issues and status, prioritizing urgent issues, and documenting related processes.
- Maintains documentation for implementing selected physical security solutions, including hardware, software, configuration parameters, and troubleshooting.
- Supports the integration of hardware with physical security solutions, ensuring compliance requirements are met.
- Resolves hardware incidents promptly, troubleshoots technical issues, and determines root causes.
- Provides technical guidance and support to other staff and end-users on physical security-related matters.
- Supports physical security device inventory, lifecycle management, and configuration standards.
- Supports management with physical security system projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
- Collaborates with Legal, compliance teams, and IT as needed to coordinate the physical security technology component of audits ensuring physical security programs adhere to relevant laws, regulations, standards, and policies.
- Evaluates new technology trends and develop effective physical security technical controls.
- Stays updated on industry and regulatory trends to maintain current knowledge.
- Compiles reports, dashboards, or operational metrics to measure the effectiveness of the technical security program.
- Communicates complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provides clear and concise reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in an area of study relevant to this position (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, etc.)
Related Work Experience
- Generally, requires two plus years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with physical security hardware platforms including Mercury controllers, AMAG, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch, HID, DMP, or similar.
- Experience with enterprise video management systems (VMS) such as Genetec, Avigilon, or similar.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime, as necessary.
- Must participate in on-call rotation.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10%.

Compensation
This job can be performed in Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington with a Pay Range of $56,698.16 - $106,309.06. This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $51,028.35 USD - $94,496.94.
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
