Analyst Lead, Testing

Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)

Shift: 4pm - 1am PHT

As an Analyst Lead, Testing, you will not only ensure the highest quality of our fintech products but also drive AI-augmented quality engineering, enabling faster, smarter, and more reliable delivery. 

This role blends deep QA expertise with modern platform skills and AI-assisted productivity — empowering teams to work efficiently in a cloud‑native, automation-first environment. 

What you will be doing :

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for complex financial applications, including functional, integration, and system-level testing. 

• Create and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, test scripts, and reusable test assets. 

• Drive both manual and automated testing efforts for UI and API layers. 

• Manage defect lifecycle, lead triage discussions, and ensure timely resolution. 

• Consult on development/testing processes, quality practices, audits, and measurement frameworks. 

• Leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Copilot Studio to accelerate test design, documentation, troubleshooting, and reporting. 

• Use AI-assisted tools to optimize test case authoring, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance regression cycles. 

• Champion an AI-first mindset across the QA team and mentor others in AI adoption. 

• Integrate AI insights into continuous improvement frameworks for efficiency and coverage.

• Work closely with delivery managers, project managers, and stakeholders to meet delivery timelines. 

• Mentor and support junior QA team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. 

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and strong communication skills. 

What you bring:

• 7+ years of related experience in QA / software testing space.

• Minimum 4 years of automated testing experience.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud fundamentals.

• Proficiency with Linux shell commands from a QA perspective for log analysis, debugging, environment validation, and backend checks.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration, including using the Kubernetes Dashboard for monitoring and validation.

• Experience working with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines, build verification, automated test triggers, and pipeline troubleshooting.

• Strong familiarity with API testing tools like Bruno and Rest Assured, and frameworks such as BDD/TDD. 

• Experience with Cucumber and BDD-driven automation scripting. 

• Proficiency in UI automation tools like Selenium (Java), Protractor, or Cypress

• Experience testing banking/financial services applications and payment systems. 

• Understanding of real-time and bulk payment schemes, including ISO20022, SWIFT MT/MS, SEPA, SCT Instant, and cross-border payment flows. 

• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• Effective stakeholder management. 

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
