Position Summary
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for driving financial planning & analysis activities for a portion of the P&L. You will be responsible for delivering financial and operational insights at the client level to support forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis. You and your work will help provide management the data and insights needed to make critical business decisions. This role will support CVS Health’s Pharmacy Services segment.

Job Description

  • Oversee the client-level analysis of financial performance, including profitability drivers, identifying margin leakage, along with analysis of trends and variances, and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that summarize client-level financial results for executive and management teams.
  • Track and report client-level margin, highlighting variances from forecast and providing clear explanations for performance drivers.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various business scenarios and help guide strategic decisions
  • Establish financial planning and analysis processes, systems, tools, and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 1+ year of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting and/or finance experience preferably in healthcare or financial services
  • Experience in financial closing process
  • Experience working with other finance areas (e.g., finance or operations).
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and interpret results
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
  • High level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially when working under tight deadlines during reporting/close periods


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent professional experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
