Planning and Business Strategy Building for Capital Markets Group, APAC, which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Contribute to expansion of Capital Markets Business in APAC
- Enhance Origination to Distribution business model by strengthening the underwriting capability and by developing secondary selldown framework
- Strengthen internal control framework with an emphasis in underwriting risk control and develop effective and efficient planning and reporting framework.
Job Responsibilities:
The role will be accountable and responsible for taking appropriate action with respect to the Company’s and Capital Markets Group Planning:
- Support smooth origination and execution of loans & bonds from policy and procedure point of view for the team to increase capital markets revenue.
- Management support on business
- Support Co-Heads of Capital Markets Group APAC reporting the business update, including profit report, risk management report for underwriting business, business progress report, etc.
- Loan Underwriting management
- Manage the Anticipating and delivering on the team member’s Loan UW support needs. Identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to all Regional/Singapore's Risk and Compliance requirements and regulations. Follow internal credit procedures and deliver quality asset.
- Ensure internal credit procedures are followed to enhance the credit quality of the loan portfolio in Singapore.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in financial institutions, with at least 1 year in investment banking experience
- Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency) with demonstrated experience communicating with Japanese speaking stakeholders and senior management in Tokyo Head Office and across APAC to promote business growth and various strategies, as the role involves in interacting Japanese speaking stakeholders.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree qualified
- Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging with teams and stakeholders across APAC and Tokyo Head Office.
- Consistently achieves set objectives and targets, taking full ownership and accountability for individual and team outcomes.
- Exhibits a proactive and self-motivated attitude, actively seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.
