Analyst / Associate, Global Markets Supervision

What is the opportunity?

Join our team in Global Markets chief operating office, where you will provide governance and oversight support to ensure compliance with market regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices. This role involves working closely with front-office teams and a wide range of stakeholders, including sales, trading, finance, business management, market risk, IT, and other functional partners, to enhance processes, manage risks, and support supervisory activities across asset classes.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with front-office teams and stakeholders to support governance and risk management initiatives.

• Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance supervisory processes and improve efficiency.

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on Global Markets activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including compliance, risk management, and technology.

• Support the development and implementation of key controls and processes.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate supervisory tasks.

• Work on cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of key objectives.

What you need to succeed?

Basic Qualifications – Must Have

• 1-2 years of experience in Global Markets or a related field.

• An understanding of financial markets, including equities, macro, and spread products.

• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

• Ability to collaborate and manage projects in a complex matrixed organization

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure, responding to demanding stakeholders with time sensitive deadlines

• Keen attention to detail

Other Required Qualifications – Nice-to-have:

• Background in Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

• Experience with AI tools or data analysis technologies such as Python.

• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects in a complex organization.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk management best practices.
