Analista de operaciones/ garantias/ comercio exterior

The Cash and Trade Proc Rep 5 is an entry level role responsible for processing basic to relatively complex processing of shipping and trade services related transactions. The overall objective is to perform moderately complex trade operation tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.  Interaction and support to customer is applicable.  This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Support a range of trade operations products, such as bank guarantee issuances and payment, analysis of letters of credits, and loans disbursements.
• Provide processing assistance for firm payments, receivables, and trade transactions.
• Prepare daily reports to ensure transactions and documentation received were duly processed.
• Prepare monthly regulatory reports,
• Scanning, sending, receiving and separation of all correspondence / documents of the clients, file documentation, handling sensitive documentation.
• Assist with special projects, if needed
• Requires a lot of concentration due to the volume of documents generally manage in the area of Shipping.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in back office
• Demonstrated experience in transaction and accounting processing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills, preferably advance knowledge in excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
• Excellent communication and writing skills (English & Spanish)

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
