POSITION OVERVIEW:

The AMS Project Management will lead the planning and execution of new customer onboarding, process improvement, automation, system implementations and other transformative changes ensuring successful program delivery. The Project Manager will also oversee project portfolios and ensure successful delivery of portfolio goals. He/she will be responsible for running the program activities and supervising critical program milestones. The job holder will collaborate with a wide range of partners within and outside Global Business Services, ensuring an integrated approach.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Collaborate with horizontal workstreams to address interdependencies; drive governance and facilitate regular program and project calls.
  • Design the Service Delivery Model and prepares the business case for mid to large sized projects by translating customer and also by performing risks & process readiness assessments.
  • Influence key program stakeholders to ensure successful implementation across workstreams and businesses.
  • Conduct periodic project plan assessments, including milestone and deliverables reviews to ensure readiness and quality of the projects.
  • Employ fit-for-purpose methodologies to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones to achieve project scope in a timely manner, with quality and within budget.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, actions, decisions, and interdependencies, own the issue escalation process in case of critical issues and drives to find mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and define deliverables, review deliverables and milestones. Monitors, maintain/update project plans & resolve complex issues / manage critical path processes as it relates to project delivery.
  • Responsible for regular reporting cadences, ensure clear communication of project outcomes (risks, issues, actions, and decisions), lead Steering Committee discussions. Effectively communicate the status and results of the projects
  • Lead and execute assigned projects or defined areas of complex projects—regardless of scope (complex business transformations, automations, system implementations, migrations, transitions, process reengineering, new customer onboarding, etc.)
  • Drive project requirements, deliverables, and progress throughout the project’s lifecycle with Business, Operational teams, IT, and any other functions.
  • Oversee portfolio of projects, manages project changes and interventions to keep the portfolio on track, acts as single source of truth for the overall health and savings pipeline.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably business related.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile, etc.) highly desirable
  • 5+ years of solid experience managing complex, global programs and project initiatives.
  • Experience in Customer Service and asset management services prefered.
  • GBS experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Agile project management is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written)

  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, efficient in time management.
  • Has experience in successfully leading complex, multidimensional projects.
  • Has sound workshop facilitation skills, including the ability to difficult or intricate messages in a measured and clear manner.
  • Has good interpersonal skills & good negotiating skills.
