Role Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished Alteryx Solution Architect (Finance Automation & Analytics) – Process Manager with deep expertise in Alteryx and a strong understanding of Finance systems architecture. The role demands strategic ownership of solution design, platform governance, and delivery excellence across Alteryx and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query).
The candidate will act as a solution architect, technical mentor, and delivery lead, partnering closely with Finance & Accounts teams to drive scalable automation, analytics, and reporting solutions that deliver tangible business value.
Job Title: Alteryx Solution Architect (Finance Automation & Analytics) – Process Manager
Location: Bangalore
Years of Experience: 5 – 8 years
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Ownership:
- Act as the Lead and single‑point owner for Alteryx and Power Platform solutions within Finance
- Provide technical direction, design reviews, and best‑practice guidance to developers and analysts
- Mentor team members and build capability across Alteryx and Power Platform
- Take accountability for solution quality, scalability, security, and performance
Solution Architecture & Design
- Understand and design solutions aligned to Finance system architecture, including ERP, sub‑ledgers, data warehouses, and reporting layers
- Architect end‑to‑end automation and analytics solutions using Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, and integrations with UiPath, .NET, and APIs where applicable
- Ensure solutions are reusable, modular, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards
Platform & Governance
- Own Alteryx Server and Power Platform governance, including user access, environments, deployment standards, and operational controls
- Define and enforce development standards, naming conventions, version control, and documentation practices
- Ensure data security, auditability, and compliance with Finance and IT policies
Finance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Finance & Accounts leadership and process owners to identify automation and analytics opportunities
- Lead feasibility assessments, challenge requirements constructively, and recommend the right tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, UiPath, etc.)
- Translate complex finance requirements into scalable technical solutions
Delivery & Value Realization
- Lead the full delivery lifecycle:
- Understand → Feasibility → Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Hypercare
- Oversee testing, release management, and production deployment
- Track and demonstrate efficiency gains, cost savings, and business impact from delivered solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Expert‑level proficiency in Alteryx, with strong hands‑on experience in complex, enterprise‑scale solutions
- Alteryx certification (Advanced or higher preferred)
- Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes and system architecture (GL, AP, AR, FA, controlling, reporting)
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)
- Power Automate (workflow automation)
- Power Query (data transformation)
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or equivalent
- Experience integrating Alteryx and Power Platform with other tools (UiPath, APIs, .NET, databases)
Good to Have
- Experience setting up or leading a Center of Excellence (CoE) for automation or analytics
- Exposure to hyperautomation and intelligent automation architectures
- Experience in regulated Finance environments with audit and compliance requirements
