Role Intro

Deutsche Bank’s Wealth Management business is one of the largest wealth managers worldwide. We offer our clients a broad range of traditional and alternative investment solutions, as well as comprehensive advice on all aspects of Wealth Management.

As a trusted partner of wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs, family offices and foundations, we create lasting value for clients. We specialize in developing bespoke solutions for our clients around the world, for instance wealth planning across successive generations and international borders, asset management with individual risk management, loans and deposits.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and maintain relationships with internal sales (RM/IMs) and partner with them to help clients better understand their alternatives portfolios, funds DB are capital raising and the broader alternative investment landscape

  • Work closely with global teams to design and drive product campaigns for the firm’s alternatives products

  • Manage strategy-specific existing client engagements across private markets, working alongside sales, fund research and external managers to deliver in a timely manner

  • Work with CIO, research and external managers to develop content on alternative investments across topics including asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management

  • Key role in onboarding structuring partners to help drive scale within the business and develop the client experience when investing in alternative investments

  • Provide after sales support for internal sales and clients

  • Manage a range of client and product data analytics (including product performance analyses and analyzing client capital raising outcomes)

Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the alternatives investment industry in a product/client facing role. Prior private markets, hedge funds, manager selection, investor relations, banking or capital markets experience is a must

  • Strong experience and interest in markets, asset management, and understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes, industry knowledge and background from Wealth Management, Private Banking and Asset Management firms

  • Exhibit strong communication (verbally & written), interpersonal and organizational skills when engaging internally and externally with clients

  • Team player that is self-motivated and can demonstrate ability to position alternative investments with success with private clients

  • Ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint effectively

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields. Preferred certifications: CFA, CAIA, EIP/EFA.

  • Native Italian, Fluent English, German is a plus.
