Why this role is important to us
The Alpha Business Architecture team helps shape how clients connect to and use the Alpha Platform. We work on defining and documenting standard interfaces, business processes, and system workflows that support Alpha’s end to end solutions.
In this role, you’ll support efforts to clearly capture business requirements, create easy to understand process diagrams, and document design decisions. You’ll also help identify opportunities to standardize solutions, reduce complexity, and improve how Alpha services are delivered to clients in a consistent and scalable way.
What you will be responsible for
• Build an understanding of the Alpha platform and its end to end value proposition.
• Support senior architects in identifying opportunities to standardize products and workflows by helping document and validate current and future state processes.
• Create and update Jira backlog items, and help track progress using dashboards and team hub pages.
• Draft clear and well structured requirements, design notes, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with basic project management activities, including meeting agendas and notes, project plans, and action logs.
• Support business analysis activities by maintaining plans, tracking issues, and preparing project documentation.
• Participate in user interface and solution design sessions, helping document outcomes and propose initial observations or suggestions.
Key Responsibilities
• Help document business requirements gathered from product, implementation, and operations teams to support strategic initiatives.
• Assist in documenting future state designs, including capturing options and outlining high level pros and cons.
• Create and maintain system and process flow diagrams that clearly illustrate key components and interactions.
• Attend team and project meetings to build knowledge of different client types, such as asset owners, asset managers, private markets, and ETF issuers.
• Share observations and feedback with internal teams (including Alpha and CRD partners) on process gaps, documentation clarity, and opportunities to improve business analysis practices.
• Support efforts to improve and standardize requirement gathering templates and documentation processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members using a variety of internal communication channels.
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic understanding of financial markets or securities terminology (or strong interest in learning).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in modern technology concepts, including automation and agent based or AI assisted workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in problem solving.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• Willingness to ask questions, learn from others, and take feedback constructively.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Positive, collaborative team oriented attitude.

Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
