Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and high-energy ALM Sales Director APAC to join our Asset Lifecycle Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business revenue growth, maintaining sales velocity, and leading the regional Go-To-Market strategy across the Asia Pacific region.
You will act as the Senior Business Unit Sales Leader, merging a "hunter" mindset with sophisticated leadership to navigate complex business-to-business sales cycles. You will lead a high-performing regional team dedicated to building a world-class sales organisation that accelerates our mission of sustained growth.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Drive Revenue and Strategy: Lead the design and execution of the Asia Pacific Go-To-Market strategy, including market segmentation and account assignments, to consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business targets.
Lead and Mentor Teams: Build a high-performing regional sales organization by recruiting high-caliber talent and providing consistent coaching and mentorship to ensure the continual development of team competencies and long-term succession planning.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Enforce rigorous sales discipline by inspecting Key Performance Indicators—such as pipeline generation and forecast accuracy—while evaluating process changes to streamline sales cycles and ensure accurate "book-to-bill" outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
15+ years of industry and sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing regional teams.
Deep Sales Acumen: Expert knowledge of complex business-to-business sales measurements, including lead generation, funnel management, and sophisticated negotiation at the executive (C-Suite) level.
Proven Leadership Ability: A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profit targets within a large, global matrix organization through collaborative partner management and change leadership.
University Degree: A required educational background to support the strategic and analytical demands of a senior regional leadership position.
Location: Sydney or Melbourne (preferred)
