This position is responsible for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of alarm security systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and performing system checks in accordance to fire code; identifying code and system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Install or update burglar alarms, IT cameras and access control systems in commercial buildings.
Test and repair existing alarm/IT cameras and access controls systems to the prescribed standards
Perform routine inspections
Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers equipment as needed
Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
Inspect and maintain company truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation
Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Perform other duties assigned by management
Education & Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of two years' experience in security alarm/access control industry
State issued TST License highly desired
Experience with commercial systems preferred
Troubleshooting skills
Display knowledge of principles, practices, codes and regulations related to the work
Interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations without supervision
Must be flexible with scheduling requirements that occasionally will require evening, weekend and/or out-of-town assignments
Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
Other Duties:

Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights.
Mostly a physically demanding role. Most of the daily demand is standing and walking stairs and climbing ladders.
May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.
Pay:
Our ideal candidate will have a range between two years' experience working as an Apprentice up to an experienced Technician requiring no supervision.
The compensation range for this role $28 to $40 per hour based on experience and fire alarm licensing.
