At ADAO (AI, Data and Agentic Enablement Office) we bring people together to unlock the future of Sunrise through data, analytics, AI and agentic technologies. We think big, move with purpose, and turn ideas into real impact for our customers and teams. ADAO is where innovation meets trust: we build strong data foundations, scale safe and reliable AI capabilities, and empower business units through our Hub and Spoke model to deliver meaningful results across the company.
In this role you will report to the ADAO’s Strategy, Portfolio and AI Governance, Security & Compliance lead, with the primary focus of defining, shaping and governing the enterprise‑wide strategy for Data, Analytics, Reporting, AI and Agentic capabilities.
You translate Sunrise corporate priorities into actionable, measurable, and value‑driven AI and Data roadmaps, ensuring strong discipline across strategy definition, portfolio management, value realization, financial governance, and AI risk/security/compliance guardrails.
You ensure ADAO’s work is strategically aligned, financially transparent, secure, compliant, and delivering measurable business value across all units. Acting as a cross‑organizational integrator, you coordinate strategic planning, portfolio execution governance, risk and compliance stewardship, and value tracking across all teams and business units.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Enterprise Data/AI strategy support: Contribute to the ADAO North Star and multi-year strategy; support capability and platform planning, target operating model design, and external/internal benchmarking to keep the roadmap relevant and ambitious
- Strategic planning & OKRs: Translate executive priorities into annual plans and quarterly OKRs; break strategic themes into a clear portfolio of initiatives with measurable outcomes, dependencies, and release milestones across Hub and Pods
- Portfolio intake & business cases: Operate the intake process for AI/data/agentic demand; structure use cases, clarify problem statements, define value hypotheses, and build lightweight business cases (benefits, cost, risk, change impact)
- Prioritization, capacity & scenario planning: Maintain the portfolio backlog and scoring model (strategic fit, value, feasibility, risk, compliance constraints); facilitate trade-off decisions and align delivery capacity across Pods and enabling teams
- Value management & benefits realization: Establish baselines and measurement plans; define KPI trees and adoption metrics; track realized value (savings, revenue, risk reduction, experience), and run benefits reviews with business owners and Finance/Controlling
- Portfolio governance & executive reporting: Prepare steering materials and portfolio health dashboards (progress, milestones, budget/burn, risks, decisions); support stage gates and ensure decisions, assumptions and actions are documented and traceable
- Establish and operationalize a rigorous enterprise Data Governance framework: Define policies, standards, ownership models, quality controls, metadata practices, and data product governance in partnership with the business units
- Change & adoption enablement: Coordinate communications and adoption plans for high-impact AI initiatives; support rollout playbooks, training, and stakeholder alignment; capture lessons learned to continuously improve portfolio processes and governance cadence
- Ensure financial stewardship for ADAO: budget governance, transparency, OPEX/CAPEX planning, and forecasting
YOUR SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data/AI, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in AI/Data strategy, portfolio management, transformation/PMO, product operations, or value management in a regulated or large-scale enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of Data, Analytics, Reporting, AI & Agentic technologies
- Strong skills in value modeling and decision support: ability to build business cases (ROI/TCO), define benefits hypotheses, quantify value, and communicate trade-offs using data and clear narratives
- Hands-on experience with portfolio cadences and ways of working (roadmaps, OKRs, agile planning, stage gates), including stakeholder facilitation for prioritization and steering forums
- Working understanding of AI/ML and GenAI/agentic systems and delivery lifecycle concepts (data sourcing, development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring) sufficient to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence without formal authority across Hub and Pods and to drive alignment across multiple business units
- High-quality writing and documentation skills (strategy briefs, business cases, steering packs)
- Exposure to Responsible AI, security, privacy and regulatory expectations (e.g., NIST AI RMF, GDPR, EU AI Act principles) is a plus
- Ability to influence without authority across complex stakeholder ecosystems
- Business-fluent English required; German is an advantage
