The Opportunity:
The purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of enterprise AI programs and projects, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, budget reporting, and partnership management with third-party contributors. Additionally, the role involves governance for deployed AI platforms for the enterprise and managing, monitoring and reporting of risks to QBE and effectiveness of controls in place to manage known risks

• The starting salary for this role is between $163,000.00 and $245,000.00
Your new role
Manage product roadmaps and evaluate usage for product features and capabilities deployed in enterprise solutions
Analyze unfolding innovation trends and identify candidates for inclusion in product roadmap
Conduct Product demo's and maintain automated training and recordings to assist enterprise users
User adoption and support for capabilities deployed
Manage product backlog on an ongoing basis
Obtain approvals for forthcoming features and releases with audiences ranging from Risk, Compliance, Legal, business owner
Execute the plans to deploy features across the company divisions and group
Monitor and manage the agreed upon governance controls for AI assisted soltuions in operation
Effectively lead and support programs and projects to achieve defined business outcomes.
Create strong partnerships with business leaders and serve as their primary point of contact.
Deliver effective decision-making by analysing complex operational and financial information.
Demonstrate strong business acumen and leadership to drive results and manage risks.
Manage relationships with all project stakeholders to achieve project initiatives on time and on budget.
Develop comprehensive communication plans and manage project communication with key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Ensure adherence to agreed service level agreements and implement process improvements.
Attract, select, develop, motivate, train, and retain a high-quality workforce to deliver excellent outcomes and customer service.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
Moderate relevant experience.
Managing AI projects based on Azure stack for 2 years
Familiarity to prompt development activities
Familiarity to AI governance requirements across geography
Interaction with senior business leaders to provide demonstration of existing AI capabilities and collect high level requirements
Preferred Work Experience includes:
Some experience in a Project Management function.
General Insurance experience.
Experience of project management, Financial and budget management, Management of external contractors to agreed service levels, Proven communicator with excellent people management experience gained in a similar position.
Experience in reviewing and analysing requirements and performing business impact analysis.
Experience developing and presenting business cases and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Experience leading teams or practices, In-depth experience relevant to project delivery.
Process / continuous improvement experience.
Experience supporting projects / change initiatives in a variety of delivery environments.
Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications include:
Relevant industry qualifications.
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
