Job Summary**
The AI Operations Analyst at Becton, Dickinson and Company will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI/ML models across various business units. This individual will bridge the gap between data science, engineering, and business operations, focusing on the reliability, performance, and ethical use of AI solutions.
Job Responsibilities**
* Monitor the performance and health of deployed AI/ML models, identifying anomalies, biases, and drift.
* Develop and implement MLOps best practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for AI models.
* Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to troubleshoot model issues, retrain models, and implement necessary updates.
* Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to visualize AI model performance metrics and operational insights.
* Participate in the evaluation and selection of AI/ML platforms and tools, ensuring alignment with company standards and security protocols.
* Document AI model lifecycles, operational procedures, and incident response plans.
* Support the integration of AI solutions into existing business processes and systems.
* Conduct root cause analysis for AI-related incidents and recommend preventative measures.
* Stay abreast of industry trends in MLOps, AI ethics, and responsible AI development.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding AI model performance and operational status.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
* 1+ years of experience in MLOps, AI operations, data engineering, or a similar role focused on AI/ML model deployment and monitoring.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
* Familiarity with MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker, Azure ML).
* Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model evaluation metrics, and common algorithms.
* Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database technologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
