If you're seeking a role where you can dive deep into technical engineering, collaborate daily with high‑level technical profiles, and focus on pure delivery excellence rather than business‑facing duties, this position will fit you perfectly. Here, you’ll shape how AI and automation are built and scaled, working hands‑on with modern cloud technologies, designing reusable components, and elevating engineering standards across multiple teams.
At Nationale‑Nederlanden, a company recognised as a Top Employer 2025 and one of Forbes’ Best Companies to Work For in Spain, you’ll join a supportive environment that values flexibility, development and high‑quality engineering.
Your Mission
Your mission is to strengthen our automation engineering landscape, ensuring workflows—both low‑code and code‑based—run reliably at scale. The templates, components and standards you build will empower multiple teams and accelerate delivery across the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and maintain Azure orchestration using Azure Functions and Logic Apps, ensuring reliability, error handling and secure integrations.
- Build reusable Python components, internal tools and templates that standardise automation delivery.
- Support Databricks Jobs/Workflows and contribute to operational readiness (runbooks, resilience).
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering guardrails (quality, testing, documentation).
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists and automation developers across Spain and international NN teams.
What Will Help You Succeed
- Strong Python for production‑grade development.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of Azure Functions / Logic Apps and API integrations.
- A mindset focused on quality, reusability and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work comfortably in English with international stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Terraform/Bicep, Power Platform / UiPath, or regulated environments.
What You’ll Gain at Nationale‑Nederlanden
- Hybrid work model, flexible hours and summer intensive schedule so you can enjoy more personal time.
- Life insurance and pension plan for all employees.
- A genuinely supportive environment where colleagues help each other grow.
- Free parking for cars, motorcycles and bicycles, including electric charging.
- Access to flexible compensation (transport card, childcare vouchers, private health insurance).
- A culture that values clarity, commitment, long‑term thinking and truly puts people first.
