AI Analyst

About the Role:

As an AI Solutions Analyst at Constellation, you will be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence across the company. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, HR, Finance, Growth, and Customer Success to identify time sinks, centralize systems, and build in-house AI functionality to replace costly external services and improve internal processes.

While this role formally sits within the Finance department, you will operate as a direct extension of our Engineering team, working hands-on with our codebase (React / Next.js, AWS) in a hybrid technical capacity. We are looking for a motivated beginner who is eager to learn new technical skills on the job. In addition to internal operational improvements, you will also take on external, client-facing projects involving data analysis, data scraping, and technical problem-solving.

This is a hybrid position based in our NYC office with required in-office days Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

Role Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional AI Integration: Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Growth, CS, and Engineering) to identify workflow bottlenecks and implement AI-driven solutions that reduce time waste and centralize data.
• In-House Tool Development: Assist in building and maintaining internal AI tools and features using our tech stack (React, Next.js, and various AWS services), learning and growing your technical skills along the way.
• Client-Facing Analysis & Advising: Work directly with external clients to understand their challenges, provide data-driven insights and advisory support, and solve technical problems.
• Data Analysis & Scraping: Perform data scraping and analysis to support both internal strategic initiatives and external client projects.
• Continuous Learning: Actively learn new programming frameworks, cloud services, and AI methodologies on the job to better support the engineering team and company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Technical aptitude with a foundational understanding of programming conacepts (data structures, control flow, APIs) and a strong willingness to learn our stack (React, Next.js, AWS).
• Analytical problem‑solver with the ability to diagnose inefficiencies and propose creative, tech‑forward solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical internal teams and external clients.
• Adaptability and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple projects, and navigating ambiguity while learning on the job.

 

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity or personal projects involving React, Next.js, or cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Practical understanding of Git and GitHub workflows, including Pull Requests, code reviews, and basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI‑assisted coding tools or agents (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate development, debugging, or learning.
• Coursework or hands‑on experience with web scraping (Python, BeautifulSoup, Selenium) or data analysis.
• Exposure to integrating AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into applications.
• Working knowledge of modern reasoning models (e.g., Claude Opus 4.6, Gemini 3 Flash), including handling large context windows, token economics, and building reliable autonomous workflows.
• Prior internship or project experience in consulting, client‑facing, or technical support roles.

Compensation Package: The total compensation package is made up of base compensation, equity, and benefits.

New York Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000
